BOLD Foundation sponsored the Monet Richardson Community Foundation annual 5k on Saturday, April 23rd, at the East Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill. Their annual 5k helps create awareness and support for youth throughout North Carolina communities by bringing people together for an inspirational run/walk.
Our team had a BOLD sweep with three of our very own BOLD members taking home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
Aside from the exciting victories, it was a beautiful day supporting a great cause. The Monet Foundation is a North Carolina-based 501(c)3 nonprofit started by Patricia Richardson, a dear friend of BOLD who lost her daughter Krissy in a car accident. Krissy had recently graduated with a degree in Social Work and wanted to help others. The organization strives to carry out Krissy's legacy by providing services and support to families through backpack donations and scholarships.
