What a gorgeous day for our BOLD Team to tour the Durham Bulls Miracle League Field that is nearing completion! Executive Director, Benjy Capps shared with us about The Miracle League of the Triangle’s vision, core values, growth, and impact on the community. Their mission is simple - to create positive life experiences for children and adults with special needs and for their families through baseball.
The Miracle League ball field is a nod to the DBAP with a covered grandstand and a functioning “mini” Snorting Bull atop the score board wall. This adaptive space will soon host teams of excited players, enthusiastic volunteers, encouraging crowds, and lots of smiles and high-fives!
