The teams from BOLD Companies rolled up their sleeves and spent the day outside Food Lion in Governors Village, volunteering with CORA Food Pantry. Together, we helped collect donations to support CORA’s brand-new Choice Pantry in Siler City, a project that’s transforming the way food assistance is provided in our area.
The Choice Pantry model empowers families to select the foods that best meet their needs, just like they would in a grocery store. It’s about more than just feeding people, it's about restoring dignity, offering healthy options, and giving people real choice in a time of need.
CORA’s impact on our community is hard to overstate. In the past year alone, they’ve distributed over 1.9 million meals and fulfilled more than 109,000 food assistance requests across Chatham County. And with demand continuing to rise, their work is more important than ever.
We’re proud to stand with CORA in their mission to fight food insecurity and uplift families in our region. If you’re looking for a way to give back, consider donating pantry items, volunteering your time, or making a financial contribution. Every single effort helps.
