Every August, as students across Chatham County gear up for a new school year, not every family has the means to provide the basic supplies their children need to succeed. The BOLD Foundation, a Chatham County nonprofit, continues to step up to bridge that gap.

This year, the BOLD Foundation assembled and donated school supply kits for more than 120 students in grades K–5. Each kit was filled with essentials like notebooks, pencils, tissues, highlighters, and laptop cases to help students start the year strong. Beyond the kits, the Foundation also contributed bulk supplies for teachers and classrooms to ensure resources were available to benefit the entire school.

The supplies were funded in large part by the BOLD Foundation and supplemented by generous community donations collected at the Sip & Shred event in July, hosted by Governors Club Realty. Guests were encouraged to bring school supplies, and the response was overwhelming.

Employees from the BOLD family of companies came together to pack the kits and deliver them to the school. Principal Nikki Murchison, Assistant Principal Dr. Mallory Heffelfinger, and staff were there to help unload the donations and accept them on behalf of the students and teachers.

The BOLD Foundation’s school supply drive is more than just a donation. It is an investment in Chatham County’s future. By providing students and teachers with the tools they need, the Foundation helps create an environment where every child can thrive.

About the BOLD Foundation: The BOLD Foundation is the nonprofit arm of BOLD Companies, dedicated to supporting local families, schools, and charitable organizations throughout Chatham County.
